I have been in the DJ business for 21 years. I started out doing event fundraisers, such as Relay-For-Life, school dances, corporate parties, and so on with my brother, Chad (pictured below), but worked my way into doing weddings and several other events on my own as soon as I obtained my driver's license in 2002.
After high school, I became a weekly bar DJ throughout college. Along with this, I continued working weddings, fundraisers, school dances, anniversaries and any other event that was in need of a DJ.
After college, I decided it was time to actually come up with a company name instead of being known as "that one DJ". Hemmelgarn Entertainment was then launched.
I know that as a DJ, I am an integral part to the event, so I value communication and trust between my clients and me to ensure they get everything they ask for and then some. I strive to make each event unique and memorable so that the guests, and my clients, will continue to talk about how much fun they had for years to come.

I began my career 26 years ago. I started by doing house parties on college campuses.
Throughout college, I was a resident DJ at a popular urban dance club while playing at various venues and events.
Since college, I have played in various establishments in over ten major cities across the country. After touring and doing this for several years, I am now available to make your event the most memorable.
I form a close, professional relationship with my clients in preparation for their event to make sure everything goes just the way they want it. I look forward to working with each one of my clients and their guests.

Growing up having a true appreciation for all genres of music, I knew that I've always wanted to share that passion and appreciation with people. Being able to combine this passion and your need for entertainment is what keeps me loving what I do.

I have been in the DJ and entertainment industry for nearly 10 years. I got my start the Winter Place Ski Resort in West Virginia. I was in charge of entertaining crowds of 500 to 1,500 people on a weekly basis. From there, I branched out and began specializing in mobile DJ services catering to weddings, private parties and corporate functions.
Through my career, I have learned to be a DJ who is adaptive to all situations and crowds. This ensures a truly memorable experience for the clients and guests.

I have always loved music. Playing music has always been a passion of mine and over the years, I've always wanted to share it with people.
I first started playing live music when I was 12 and by the time I was 18, I was playing with a band all over Ohio and on OSU game days. We played for many weddings, so once I slowed down with travel and playing in the band, I knew that I really wanted to keep music a part of my life, so I decided to take on the new role of being a DJ. I've been a wedding DJ for three years and love to interact with people of all ages!
My goal is to have the wedding flow so smoothly that the bride and groom can sit back, relax, and enjoy every moment of their wedding day!
